學術活動

期刊Journal of Economic Geography當初創刊目的，即是要重新定義經濟學與地理學兩者間的交集，以及活化兩者間的互動。實際上的情況如何呢？本演講首先回顧若干檢視經濟學者與地理學者之間，論文相互跨界引用的分析研究。基於這些觀察，我們將進一步認識這兩個陣營在方法論上的歧異與論爭。我也將簡短介紹一下經濟學者的研究方法與創新模式。最後，從個人獨特的學術生涯歷程與經驗出發（地理學博士，但目前主要研究方向為國際經濟），我想針對這兩陣營的“對話”或個人跨領域的學術生涯，分享一些感想與看法。

The aims of the Journal of Economic Geography are to redefine and reinvigorate the intersection between economics and geography. This talk first reviews some analyses on the cross-referencing behavior of economists and geographers. Based on these observations, we move to the debate over the methodology between these two camps. I will also briefly introduce economists’ methodology and the way they innovate themselves. Last, having a PhD degree in geography but now conducting studies in international economics, I would like to share some personal experiences and opinions for such a career development.

講者為B79、R83、D94的地理系系友，具近十年地理資訊產業與政府專案經驗，取得地理學博士學位後，曾任職於日本東北大學大學院經濟學研究科。目前為中央研究院經濟學研究所博士後研究學者。近期研究旨趣為結合經濟理論、貿易資料與空間資料，建立政策量化分析模型。學術論文已分別發表於European Planning Studies, International Journal of Economic Theory, Academia Economic Papers, 以及Journal of Economic Geography。
