Bios
Dr. Shiuh-shen CHIEN obtained his PhD in London School of Economics and Political Science and now is Assistant Professor in Human Geography at National Taiwan University. Piror to that he was visiting research fellow of East Asian Institute at National University of Singapore. His research interests cover human geography, development studies, geography of globalization, comparative institutional analysis, transnational innovation, and political economy of urban and regional development with empirical focuses on transitional and developing countries. His articles in print or in progress are able to be seen in Environment and Policy C: Government and Policy, Urban Studies, and Regional Studies.
